Know what's happening. Act before it costs you.

Duradim designs, builds and installs sensor and actuator systems that watch your equipment around the clock and react to events in real time.

One engineer designs, builds and installs it.

Problems without warning

Most damage comes from a small fault that nobody noticed for a long time.

A pipe lets go at night

A joint fails at 2 a.m. By morning there are hundreds of litres on the floor and a soaked ceiling below.

Cost: repairs, drying, ruined floors and belongings.

A leak sensor notices water within seconds, an automatic valve shuts the supply, and your phone gets a message.

A machine runs too hot

A bearing wears, a filter clogs, a fan stalls. Nobody notices until the machine stops, or something worse happens.

Cost: downtime, a damaged machine, a safety risk.

Temperature, vibration and current are tracked over time. A drift from normal operation can be spotted days ahead, and a configured limit stops the machine before it fails.

A cold room gives up

A door left ajar or a worn-out compressor lets the temperature creep up a few degrees overnight. Stock is lost before anyone checks.

Cost: spoiled goods and disappointed customers.

Several measuring points, a door sensor and an alarm to your phone while the stock can still be saved.

A heater nobody switched off

A heater, a kiln or a pump runs all weekend because it was forgotten on a Friday afternoon.

Cost: wasted energy, and a fire risk.

Power monitoring shows what is running. A rule switches it off by schedule, or when nobody is around.

Measure and react

Every duradim system follows the same four steps. What changes is which sensors and which actions you need.

  1. Measure

Sensors read temperature, moisture, pressure, current, vibration, whatever matters on your equipment.

  2. Understand

A controller compares readings with limits and rules we agree on together. Simple, visible, adjustable.

  3. Act

It sends an alarm to your phone, or switches a valve, pump, fan, heater or lock on its own.

  4. Visualize

A dashboard on your phone or computer shows live values, history and events of interest, on site and remotely.

Built around your place

A flat, a workshop and a production line need different things. These are typical starting points, and every system is adjusted to your needs.

Workshop and small business

Typical sensors

  • Compressor and machine current
  • Temperature and humidity
  • Door and motion detection

Typical actions

  • Switch off idle equipment
  • Alert when a machine stops or overheats
  • Control lights, fans and locks

Factory and production lines

Typical sensors

  • Vibration, motor current and temperature
  • Pressure and flow
  • Machine states and counters

Typical actions

  • Slow down or stop a line
  • Beacon, siren and maintenance notice
  • Valves and relays, with a full event history

Warehouses and cold storage

Typical sensors

  • Temperature and humidity at several points
  • Door open time
  • Mains power and refrigeration status

Typical actions

  • Alarm when temperature drifts
  • Switch on backup cooling or ventilation
  • Daily temperature log you can export

If a sensor can measure it, we can watch it

A short list of what we usually measure.

  • Temperature
  • Humidity
  • Water leak
  • Pressure
  • Flow
  • Liquid level
  • Vibration
  • Current and power
  • Gas and smoke
  • Door and motion
  • Light level
  • Speed and position
  • Something else? Ask.

See the real system at work

This is the interface of the underfloor heating and heat pump monitor I built for my own system. Explore the floor plan and the charts, and use the “Try it” button to see how alarms and leak detection react.

The real interface of the system

This is the actual interface that runs on the device in my house: floor plan, heat pump, charts up to 30 days, alarms, water leak detection. Only the sensors are simulated.

How we work

Five steps, one person. Nothing is built before you have agreed on what it will do and what it will cost.

  1. Consultation

We talk about what you want to know and what should happen automatically. You get an honest answer, including when you do not need a system.

  2. Design

A list of sensors and actions, the wiring, the logic and a clear written price.

  3. Development

Hardware and software built and tested on the bench before they reach your site.

  4. Installation

Mounting, wiring and commissioning, then a walkthrough of the dashboard and the rules.

  5. Support

Updates, adjustments and repairs. You talk to the person who built it.

Why duradim

A system is only useful if it keeps working and someone answers when it does not.

  • Built for your case

Custom hardware and software, not a catalogue box that almost fits. You pay for the sensors and logic you need.

  • Hands-on engineering

The person who designs the electronics and writes the firmware is the person who installs it and agrees the job with you.

  • No vendor lock-in

You get documentation, and the system works on your own network. No mandatory cloud subscription.

  • Honest about limits

A sensor system reduces risk, it does not replace fire alarms, safety relays or certified protection that the law requires.

Your data stays with you

The system runs locally, on a controller in your building. Nobody but you can see what it measures.

  • Runs locally

Measuring, rules and alarms run on a controller on your own network. Nothing depends on someone else's servers.

  • Only you have access

Readings, history and events are stored on the device in your building. Nobody else, duradim included, can see them.

  • Your data is not the product

Many commercially available systems collect data in the vendor's cloud and make money from it, often by selling it. Here there is none of that: you pay for the system, and the data is yours.

One engineer, start to finish

I am an embedded hardware engineer with many years of experience in the industry.

Duradim is what I build on the side because I enjoy it: systems that quietly watch things and step in when needed. The first one monitors the underfloor heating and heat pump in my own house, and the interface in the live demo is the real one from that system.

There is one person behind all of this. That means no sales layers and no ticket queue: you talk to the engineer who designs, builds and installs your system. I hope people would rather support a person than a big company, and I think quality and personal support are the only way to earn that.

Questions people ask

How much does it cost?

It depends on the number and type of sensors, the actions you need and the installation. Tell me what you want and you get a rough quote before we go into details. Everything can be arranged.

What the price depends on →

How long does installation take?

A small home or workshop system is usually installed in a day or two once the hardware is built. Larger sites are planned in phases so production is not interrupted.

Does it work without internet?

Yes. Measuring, rules and automatic actions run on the controller itself, on your local network. Internet is only needed for remote access and for alerts that go to your phone.

Can I see it from my phone when I am away?

Yes. We set up secure remote access, and the options depend on your network. We agree on the details in the design phase.

What maintenance does it need?

Very little. Sensors are checked during an occasionally agreed visit or remotely, and firmware is updated only when there is a reason to. An additional support agreement is optional.

What happens to my data?

Data stays on a controller that you own. Nothing goes to the cloud unless you want us to set that up. Alerts pass through the message service you choose, most often SMS and email.

Can the system be expanded later?

Yes. Systems can be modular: you can add sensors, rooms or whole lines later, and the dashboard expands with them.

Can it connect to my existing equipment?

Often yes. We check which options exist during the consultation.
