Underfloor heating and heat pump monitoring

Underfloor heating with a heat pump works quietly and unnoticed. That is its strength, and also the problem: when something starts to drift, you often only see it on the bill or when the house gets cold.

What is monitored

  • Room and floor temperature, and humidity
  • Temperatures and pressure in the heating circuit
  • Heat pump and pump operation
  • Water leaks under the heating manifold and in other sensitive places

What the system does on its own

  • Shows live values and history, on a phone or computer
  • Sends a message when something moves outside the agreed limits
  • Controls heating, pumps and ventilation by rules agreed in advance
  • Can close the main water valve if a leak is detected

A real example

The first system I built monitors the underfloor heating and heat pump in my own house. The interface you see in the demo on the site is the real interface of that system: floor plan, heat pump, charts up to 30 days, alarms and leak detection. Only the sensors in the demo are simulated.

Works without internet

Measuring, rules and automatic actions run on a controller on your local network. Internet is needed only for remote access and for messages to your phone. Data stays on the device in your building.

How we start

You tell me what you have and what you want to know. You get an honest answer, including when you do not need a system. If it makes sense, you get a list of sensors and actions and a clear written price before anything is built.

A sensor system reduces risk, but it does not replace protection required by law.
